COLLECT by SoleSavy Is Now Available to the Public

Our retail-or-less marketplace, COLLECT, is now available to the public. For the past ten months, our members have been buying, selling, showcasing, and trading their sneakers to fellow sneakerheads on a marketplace with the lowest fees in the industry.

COLLECTâ€s key features include the lowest fees in the industry to buy, sell and trade new and used sneakers, a showcase section for keeping track of your collection, retail-or-less listing requirements, and in-app messaging between identity-verified users.

• Why retail or less pricing? 
  • SoleSavyâ€s mission has always been to make collecting sneakers more fair and fun. Every day, countless sneakers are sold on the aftermarket for hiked-up prices when many of those pairs are still available for retail in other places. Retail or less pricing puts the power into the buyerâ€s hands. 
• How does retail or less pricing work?
  • When listing a sneaker on COLLECT to sell, the maximum listing price will be 20% over retail to allow you to recoup your full costs paid when originally purchasing sneakers, which can include taxes and shipping.
    • Ex: An Air Jordan 1 ‘Taxi†can only be listed at a maximum price of $216 ($180 retail + 20%). Anything above that will be denied, and you will not be able to list.
• Why 20%?
  • Our definition of retail or less pricing is a maximum of 20% over MSRP to cover costs previously paid for taxes + shipping. 
• What about my high-value sneakers?
  • Trades and offers can be made privately between the buyer and seller, but “buy it now” listings must be for retail or less.
• What fees does COLLECT have?
  • Fees vary from 0% for premium members to up to 3% for non-members, the lowest in the industry. Trade fees vary from $5-$8.
  • Standard credit card fees also apply.
• How do payouts work?
  • If selling, once the sneakers are delivered to the buyer, your payout is instantly transferred to you. No held funds, and no extra fees.
• What about authentication?
  • Every buyer and seller on COLLECT must verify their identity using Stripeâ€s Know Your Consumer (KYC) technology. This serves as the first line of defense against fraudulent activity.
