Legacy sneaker brand Diadora has been making waves recently with a slew of remixes of its most popular silhouettes. The brand is joining forces with Puerto Rican brand Details Matter for an intricate take on the classic Diadora N9002 with a new colorway entitled “The Traveler.”
The tonal grey sneaker is appropriately filled with details tied to the brand’s home of Puerto Rico. The gray uppers themselves, comprised of oil-waxed leather, suede, and nubuck, represent the clouds hovering over the green mountains and cobblestone streets of Old San Juan. A tan 3M outline of the Diadora logo found on the quarter panels pays homage to the beautiful beaches throughout the country. To top it all off, the heel of the Details Matter x Diadora N9002 “The Traveler” is stamped with a mold of the Details Matter compass logo.
The Details Matter x Diadora N9002 “The Traveler” releases on January 13 exclusively via Foot Locker. The retail price is set at $140.
