(Updated) Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch” Releasing On Christmas Eve

(UPDATE December 14th, 2020): Official photos of the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch” have arrived. Take a look at the images below.

(UPDATE November 27th, 2020): The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch” will be releasing earlier than expected. The shoes are currently set for a December 24th, 2020 drop date.

One of the most beloved Kobe footwear colorways is rumored to be making a big comeback in 2021. The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch” initially debuted on-foot (and on-court) by Kobe Bryant during the LA Lakers vs Miami Heat Christmas game in 2010. Sadly, these kicks never got the retail drop we were all hoping for. Rumored to finally release in 2021, the Protro’s Volt Green upper and Christmas day premiere makes the “Grinch” name all the more fitting. The pebbled, scale-like texture is applied throughout, gives it a unique look and feel. Bryant’s logo appears on the tongue in holiday-appropriate bright-red. Take a look at the leaked images below as we await official photos and proper release date.
