The upcoming Air Jordan Luka 1 is engineered specifically for the crafty, cerebral play of Dallas Mavericks star Luka Dončić. Made with the new Formula 23 foam throughout the midsole, also found in the Air Jordan 37, the Luka 1 offers comfort and responsiveness during side-to-side motions like crossovers or Luka’s devastating Eurostep.
The Luka 1 implements a new piece of technology with its bright blue IsoPlate made to support the forefoot when going from front to back. Flywire on the lateral portion of the sneaker offers breathability and flexibility without compromising support. Luka’s logo appears on the tongue and insoles while “non desistas non exieris” latin for “never give up, never surrender” appears on the medial side of the shoe. A translucent outsole atop a speckled midsole ties the look together. The Jordan Luka 1 “Signal Blue” release date has yet to be announced but look for it to be released on Nike.com and select retailers soon.
