Jayson Tatum’s Rumored Jordan Sneaker Surfaces

Update (1/13): Following a victory against the Brooklyn Nets, Jayson Tatum was asked about the leaked image and went on to state that the image was “not the real picture.” He added that seeing the supposed leak almost caused him to post the real image of the upcoming JT1. He also stated that he would be wearing them on the court “very, very soon,” so we can expect a real glimpse at the potential MVP candidate’s upcoming signature sneaker.

Since moving over from Nike to Jordan Brand, Jayson Tatum has been one of the staple figures at the brand. Since the Jordan 35, Tatum has been baring his personality and passion via player exclusives like the “Taco Jay” colorways and the recent classic Mustang-inspired looks. Now, it’s time for the MVP candidate to spread his wings and lead his own line like he’s leading the NBA leading Boston Celtics.

Images of his upcoming sneaker, the Jordan Tatum 1, aka the JT1, have surfaced and revealed the St. Louis native’s debut sneaker. The JT1 looks to take some design cues from the Air Jordan 37 with its weave upper. Also included in the new design is a decorative heel panel with tiger print featuring an embroidered Jumpman logo and Tatum’s logo embroidered on the tongue. The look is completed by the sneaker’s unique open midsole revealing the sneaker’s construction underneath. Much like the Air Jordan 37 and Jordan Luka 1, the JT1 also includes Jordan Brand’s newest Formula 23 cushion for extra burst and support.

The Jordan Tatum 1 “Zoo” is set to release on April 7 via Nike and select retailers for $120.
