New Balance continues to dig into its archive as the 990v3 is front and center for the Boston-based brand. Coming off of the Bodega collaboration and with the Joe FreshGoods collab on the way, the 990v3 is also releasing with the help of a previous collaborator. Levi’s, known for its previous work on the 327 and the 1300 Made in USA, is next in line to rework the 990v3.
Levi’s stays true to its heritage as a blue denim and matching suede combination dress the third member of the 990 version lineage. The collab also taps New Balance heritage with a grey version. In typical New Balance fashion, the pair features premium materials for a clean and comfortable combination. “Levi’s for Feet” branding is found on the insoles as the denim brand reworks its magic into the footwear scene once more.
