Nike has recently revealed their Yardrunners collection highlighting and celebrating HBCUs. Along with apparel geared towards those schools, Nike is also releasing a collection of Nike Dunk Lows in honor of those schools. The collection already includes Clark Atlanta University, Florida A&M, North Carolina A&T, and now Tennessee State University.
The upcoming Nike Dunk Low “Tennessee State University” features a black leather base and multicolor overlays representing the school’s colors. Red overlays appear around the toe while blue appears on the heel, eyelets, and outsole. The striking yellow heel features the school’s opening year “1912” embroidered in red while the yellow tongue features the school’s tiger mascot on the front and the school motto “THINK WORK SERVE” on the backside. Tiger-striped insoles with “TIGER PRIDE” printed on them complete the look.
The Nike Dunk Low “Tennessee State University” drops October 8. The retail price is set at $120.
