As the Milwaukee Bucks megastar Giannis Antetokounmpo rises in popularity, so does the profile of his signature silhouette. In conjunction with the release of his Disney+ exclusive film Rise, Nike is releasing official images of the Nike Zoom Freak 4.
The new silhouette is drastically lower cut than his previous models and is now more akin to his mentor Kobe Bryant’s signature line. The construction is a mostly mesh-based build with Giannis’ signature enlarged Swoosh taking center stage as usual. A visible air pod at the forefoot provides Giannis with the explosion he needs in the lane. A mint green appears in the midfoot area, while a bold green color with a wavy pattern fills the Swoosh. A black ankle collar with “Freak” and Giannis’ logo appears on the heel as an added detail.
Tons of personal details fill the shoe, including: “Stay Freaky” on the toe of the rubber outsole and the names of his close family on the bottom outsole, while FRE4K branding appears on the insoles. Giannis’ logo and a compass logo appear on the tongue to complete the look.
A release date for the Nike Zoom Freak 4 has yet to be confirmed but look for it to be released soon. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will prepare members for drop day.
