The bond between Nike and the late Virgil Abloh continues to blossom. With the recent arrival of the ‘Brooklyn’ colorway of his Nike Air Force One, images of an all-new silhouette designed by the former Louis Vuitton head have surfaced via @wxj6550822 on Instagram. The silhouette is said by sources to be the first Nike silhouette Virgil crafted from the ground up.
The silhouette features a white midtop cut with a black zipper shroud and an enlarged Off-White branded tongue. Off-White’s signature exposed stitching attaches the translucent Swooshes on the sides with the brand’s staple orange tag attached to the lateral Swoosh. The medial side features the brand-new silhouette’s name stamped on the side with the Nike and Off-White branding usually found on their collaborative efforts.
The real standout comes in the sneakers unique tooling with the forefoot having ridges akin to Charles Barkley’s CB94 and the visible Air Unit connected to a curved and multicolored midsole with the words “Nike Air Inner Space” embossed on it.
