The Hali 1 will make its debut tonight during Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Almost a year since announcing his partnership with Puma, Salehe Bembury has taken on the task of delivering the rising star’s first signature sneaker with PUMA.
The Hali 1 has Bembury’s design DNA all over it. The wave designs on the midsole feels reminiscent of Bembury’s prior footwear endeavors, be it his works with Crocs or Monclear. The loud colorway, named after Hibiscus, also feels reminiscent to previous efforts.
From a technical standpoint, the Hali 1 features PUMA’s NITRO technology to maximize cushion. The sneakers’ upper is dressedin lightweight mesh and held together by a TPU cage. An oversized PUMA Big Cat logo sits along the ankle to round out the upper.
The Hali 1 could not be arriving at a better time. Throughout this polarizing 2025 NBA Playoffs run Tyrese Haliburton has cemented his star status within the NBA. He is currently averaging what is essentially a Double-Double with 18.8 points, 9.8 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game. His most iconic moment, of course, being the shot to send Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Knicks into overtime. Pacers fans are hopeful Haliburton will maintain his performances and lead them to the first NBA Championship in Franchise history.
Though the Hali 1 will make it’s on-court debut tonight, the release to the public is currently slated for September. Expect them to land at puma.com and PUMA Hoops retail partners.
