Today, Sony PlayStation and Reebok have revealed a special collaborative capsule to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic PlayStation lineage.
The collaborative capsule will feature three sneakers dressed in the iconic color palette synonymous with the original PlayStation. Each of the sneakers will release in a different region of the world to better serve the PlayStation audience.
The Pump Omni Zone II will release exclusively in the U.S. for $220 USD. The sneaker features a hidden detail dated September 9th, 1995- the day the console launched in the United States.
The Workout Plus will launch as an exclusive in the UK and retail for £150.00. It will also include launch date for the console hidden in the sneaker.
Finally, the Instapump Fury will launch exclusively in Japan for ¥37,000. Following the theme of the collection, the sneaker features a hang-tag featuring the Japanese launch date of the PlayStation.
This collection plays upon the nostalgic details of the game-changing PlayStation console. The shades of gray are juxtaposed by the colored details, but also the unique flows and bends of the Reebok silhouettes chosen to house this collaboration.
