Nike is celebrating 50 years of their iconic Cortez. The Swoosh is teaming up with Chitose Abe’s Sacai once more for a dynamic take on the sneaker.
The Sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 takes on the OG colorway of the Cortez that originally debuted back in 1972. The Sacai x Cortez comes with a white leather upper with suede overlays. The silhouette features Sacai’s staple double-layered design like the Vaporwaffle, LDWaffle, and Blazer before it. The sneaker is completed by the visible Zoom Air unit in the midsole and co-branding on the heel, tongue, and insole. The Sacai x Nike Cortez 4.0 “OG” drops on August 31st via Nike and select retailers. A retail price of $185 has been set for the sneaker.
