The Nike Ja 3 Arrives this Upcoming Fall

The latest signature sneaker from Ja Morant and the Swoosh will arrive later this year.

Last Week, Ja Morant debuted his upcoming signature model during Game One of the 2024-2025 NBA Playoffs for the Grizzlies.

Dubbed “Max Volume”- the colorway features the now familiar scratch design that is associated with Morant’s line. The vibrant colors of pink and purple give the sneaker a 90s aesthetic, while the scratch design rounds out the look. The Ja 3 was engineered to showcase Jaâ€s standard of bold, energetic design, channeling his hands-on creative approach into a silhouette.

“I told the Nike design team I needed something that talks before I even lace it up,” says Ja. “I wanted my third signature shoe to feel like my game and my personality. I told them, ‘Donâ€t be scared. Push it. Make it rugged, make it different.†And they ran with it,” explained Morant when discussing the execution of the Ja 3.

The Ja 3 does not hold back from a tech standpoint, either. The sneaker’s upper transitions seamlessly into a translucent rubber cup sole that provides a glimpse of the innovative midsole- a full-length combination of ZoomX foam layered over ZoomX scrap materials, providing responsiveness and comfort for Jaâ€s trademark explosiveness.

The execution of the “Max Volume” colorway is a promising start. If Morant’s intention is to create a sneaker that speaks for itself- we can expect more fun colorways on the way.

The Ja 3 will debut this upcoming Fall during the 2025-2026 NBA season.
