Women’s Holiday Gift Guide

With the holidays right around the corner, we know how tough it can be shopping for loved ones. And for the women in your life, well, letâ€s say you may want to be more strategic. While these can obviously be gifted to any sneakerhead, the women of SoleSavy have come together to curate some ideas for you, at every price point.

If sneakers arenâ€t quite fitting in your budget, we rounded up some options that tell your sneakerhead friend youâ€re thinking of them without breaking the bank.

Shoelaces

We love a good lace swap – it keeps sneakers fresh and can switch up a look really easily. We love Rope Lace Supply and SoleSavy Members get a special discount.

Streetwear Accessories

If your sneakerhead pal has more expensive taste, grab them an accessory from their favorite streetwear or luxury brand. Youâ€ll be hard-pressed to find a brand that doesnâ€t sell accessories. Think: pins, hats, tote bags, pens, notebooks – there are lots of options out there! An easy place to start is to head to a brandâ€s site, hit the accessories section, and sort from low to high.

We love this glass ashtray from ALD along with their hats and tote bags; KITH has a pretty extensive accessory offering especially in the womenâ€s section and a cap or beanie is always a safe bet; and Supreme has a lot of options as well, including this 2-pack of Supreme x Hanes tees for just $30 — itâ€s not a box logo but theyâ€ll appreciate the thought either way.

Shoe Cleaner

This may be one of the most obvious but failsafe gifts you can get for a sneakerhead — you can literally never get enough. With winter around the corner, who doesn’t need a deep clean for their winter rotation. We love Jason Markk, but there are lots of other brands out there: Crep Protect, Reshoevn8r, and more. You can cop through their respective sites but if youâ€d prefer to find them locally, check your neighborhood sneaker boutique; theyâ€ll almost always have some on deck.

You can also take it to the next level with a sneaker protector, like this one from Makeway. It goes over pretty much any sneaker to protect against the elements. A little (or a lot of) rain or snow wonâ€t stop the sneaker rotation from being great.

WNBA Gear

The WNBA had such an amazing and fun season and this is a great way to support the game while also stepping up your wardrobe.

The logo hat and iconic orange hoodie are staples (we even found some Nike hoodies still in stock), but the gear these days is just too good not to get!

Socks

While socks have historically been frowned upon as gifts, we can argue that a sneakerhead will always appreciate a good pair of socks. That said, you still need to be thoughtful with your choices.

Similar to the accessories sentiment, this is a good way to gift a friend from a brand they like without breaking the bank. Here are some brands we like that extend beyond the usual sports brands: ALD, KITH, Rhude, Stance, Bombas… the list goes on.

Another option is to pull up at your local sneaker boutique and grab a pair of their private label. Itâ€s a great way to support local and also rep the brand. Some boutiques we frequent are Union LA, UNDFTD, Livestock, Manor (a bunch of our staff grabbed some when we visited Phoenix this past summer).

Of course, a sock conversation wouldnâ€t be complete without mentioning our trusty affordable favorite, Uniqlo.

Sneaker Books

Thereâ€s always something cool to discover within sneaker culture, and there are endless options that encapsulate this. A good book goes a long way and even if whoever youâ€re shopping for isnâ€t really into reading, these mostly picture books anyway and look great on a coffee table or shelf.

Home Goods

Sneakers have transcended footwear and apparel, especially in recent years. Weâ€ve seen a lot of planters pop up as of late and Bodega Rose was one of, if not the OG planter girl in the sneaker world years ago. She walked so the rest of us could run. Since then, other brands have popped up, like Plntrs Shop, the Give & Grow, and more.

If plants arenâ€t her thing, thereâ€s also sneaker candles (we like Colle but that is one among many), sneaker art (check out Drake Cereal or Ralph Romeo), or rugs (Sean Brown makes those CD rugs youâ€ve likely seen all over Instagram).
