In a strange but well-appreciated bit of marketing, Union LA has made an anime. Written by Reggieknow and animated by Arthell Isom of Tokyo-based animation studio D’ART Shtajio this is a 4-minute, hijinks filled anime episode about trying to cop the upcoming Union x Air Jordan 4s. While colorful and stylized the commercial/episode manages to cover relevant societal issues of today through a humorous lens, such as the pandemic, racial discrimination in the workplace, and civil rights.
