Concepts are really bringing the heat for their next Duck… I mean Dunk collaboration. Releasing November 14th, the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk High “TurDUNKen” is an incredibly playful offering from the always creative Boston-based label. For the uninitiated, “TurDUNKen” is a play on the Lousiana staple dish Turducken which is “deboned chicken stuffed into a deboned duck, further stuffed into a deboned turkey.” The shoes and their packaging are just as emblematic of this culinary excesses as its name suggests, featuring various shades and textures of suede, leather, nylon, and canvas to replicate the look of its poultry trio. The shoe has an iridescent tongue and Swooshes while the neon orange outsole replicates the look of hunting garbs. Other details include a “Duck High Pro” tongue tag instead of “Dunk High Pro” The sock liner is done in off-white leather and features an illustration of ducks in a pond with “Nike SB” branding overlayed atop.
