Italian streetwear boutique Slam Jam is bringing two new iterations of the Nike Dunk High to retailers next month. Arriving in both a Slam Jam exclusive “Light Grey” and a worldwide release “Black” colorway, the shoes express what Slam Jam does best by subverting expectations. The upside-down Nike Swoosh tongue tags on each pair act as the first example of this rebellious nature. Each shoe features a two-toned base of either black/white or light grey/white, with the white leather toebox and side paneling featuring unique vertical and horizontal perforations not seen on a Dunk before. All overlays are done in fine nubuck while translucent Swooshes match the translucent rubber midsoles meant to age and get dirty from regular wear.
The Slam Jam exclusive “light grey” model will release October 3rd Nike SNKRS, physical Slam Jam stores, and via raffle on slamjam.com followed by a worldwide release of the “Black” colorway on October 30th.
