Paris Saint-Germaine has a long history of collaborative works with Jordan Brand and despite the delays and canceled releases this year as a result of COVID-19, the two have prepared another joint offering for 2020. Tentatively scheduled for a September 2020 release, the PSG x Air Jordan 4 will arrive in both men’s and GS sizes.
By slightly altering the color blocking of classic models like the AJ 4 Retro “Motorsports“, the PSG AJ 4 uses Bordeaux Purple – a color not frequently seen on Jordans – for the lacestays, heel tab, liner, and portions of the midsole. The base of the sneaker is predominantly White leather and mesh paneling with some black tooling applied to the extended side of the lacestays, the outsole, and bottom portion of the midsole. A co-branded “PARIS Saint-Germaine” and Jumpman logo are applied to the heel counter. A small, black tag is added to the lateral portion of the mudguard that reads out “PANAME”, a surname for Paris, as a final piece of branding from the Parisian collaborators.
