adidas Hoops continues to roll out the classic T-Mac2. Worn by Tracy McGrady and others, the shoe’s release in 2003 was celebrated by hoopers all over. The highly revered T-Mac 2 was built with a Torsion System for stability alongside an adiPrene+ forefoot for absolute control.
Nearly two decades after the shoe’s original release, the Three Stripes is bringing back the performance beast. With the “SVSM” T-Mac 2 returning, another colorway of the T-Mac 2 is coming soon. Though not an original, the upcoming adidas T-Mac 2 “Scarlet” is made of red and black. The colorway would’ve been the perfect match had McGrady played with the Rockets instead of the Magic when the T-Mac 2. Better late than never, no less.
The adidas T-Mac 2 “Scarlet” features an all-red upper with perforated leather on the toe area. Black details on the medial side to the forefoot, the collar, the heel, and the all-black outsole bode the H-Town Rockets vibes.
