AFEW x ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Beauty of Imperfection” Gives Back to the Community

AFEW and ASICS are teaming up for a one-of-a-kind release of a collaborative GEL-Lyte III.

Inspired by the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, the AFEW x ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Beauty of Imperfection” is limited to just one pair worldwide (US size 9). The shoe includes a tear-away upper and comes in a special box alongside a tea table made by Martin Heck.

The collaborative shoe was made with the help of the community and giving back to the community as 100% of the proceeds go to the Förderverein Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Düsseldorf e.V., which is supported exclusively through donations.

The Regenbogenland Children’s and Youth Hospice is a facility for children and young people who have only a limited life expectancy due to a life-shortening illness or a severe disability. The home also supports the parents and siblings of the patients.

The AFEW x ASICS GEL- Lyte III “Beauty of Imperfect” will be available via IG live event on February 14. Each ticket can be picked up for €5 at afew-store.com, and the shoe will be raffled off to one lucky entrant. Multiple tickets can be purchased. All proceeds will be donated to the Regenbogenland Children’s and Youth Hospice.
