The black and red combination colloquially referred to as the”Bred” has become synonymous with the Air Jordan line, even in its early days. From the Air Ship to the Air Jordan 1 to the Air Jordan 4 and beyond, the “Bred” colorway is a staple for the Jumpman color palette.
Jordan Brand keeps the “Bred” tradition in line with a twist on an all-new Air Jordan 1 Mid. The upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid “Reverse Bred” differs from other “Reverse Bred” treatments that we’ve seen in the past. Nonetheless, the black and red hues across the AJ1 Mid still hit the same for Jordan 1 and “Bred” lovers alike.
Built with a red leather base and black overlays, the shoe is completed with a white midsole and red outsole. Other details include a black Jumpman tongue logo with a red one on the insole, the Wings logo in red, and black laces and Swooshes to match.
A release date for the Air Jordan 1 Mid “Reverse Bred” has not been confirmed. However, we expect the pair to release on Nike.com and select retailers for $120 in the upcoming months. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
