Air Jordan 1s are starting to get washed, and we don’t mean that as an insult.
Coming to release soon are the Air Jordan 1 “Washed Pink” and “Washed Heritage,” two iterations of the seminal Jordan that see the overlays rendered in faded suede. The former is said to hit retail first and will come in full family sizing. Pink suede sits atop a white pebbled leather base, complete with a light pink tongue and cream collar. The midsole also comes in cream, and down low is a pink outsole.
Fading will continue closer to summer with the Air Jordan 1 “Washed Heritage,” previously referred to as “Washed Black.” The namesake effect sees the suede overlays appear more grey than anything, although the sockliner and outsole do appear in black. A white pebbled leather base forms a throughline from the “Washed Pink,” as does another cream midsole.
“Washed Pink” is expected to kick things off April 22, with “Washed Heritage” to follow June 10. Both will retail for $180 and should hit a variety of stockists in addition to Nike. Download the DROPS by SoleSavy app to stay informed on these releases and more.
