The next chapter of the Jordan Brand legacy is here. The technologically advanced Air Jordan 36 was unveiled earlier this year. Making its appearance on the world’s biggest stage during this summer’s Olympic Games in Tokyo, the AJ36 is finally making its way to the rest of the world.
The Air Jordan 36 is built with an all-new jacquard leno-weave upper that not only reduces weight but keeps your foot locked in throughout any movement. Its lightweight yet strong components ensure breathability and optimal functionality. The AJ36 includes a Zoom Air Strobel unit stitched directly to the upper, stacked with a Zoom Air unit for ultimate comfort and a propulsion-like sensation.
In addition to its performance benefits, the see-through design and intricate pattern serve as the canvas for creative colorways and heritage-infused stories. With its spoiler and other nods to the Air Jordan 6, the AJ36 is tapping into its roots with the upcoming colorway.
The highly-anticipated Air Jordan 36 “Infrared” has surfaced. Its all-black upper with the familiar infrared hue accents the rest of the shoe. Much like its muse, the reimagined “Infrared” colorway also includes an icy outsole.
The Air Jordan 36 “Infrared” retails for $185 and is expected to release on Nike.com and select retailers in the coming weeks. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
