Over the past few numbered entries, Jordan Brand has been paying homage to its early days. The upcoming Air Jordan 37 includes many details related to the Air Jordan 7 released in 1992, including a neoprene bootie and graphic tongues.
One of the most iconic colorways, the “Hare” colorway, gets its name from the 90s Hanes ad campaign that paired Michael Jordan with Bugs Bunny and eventually resulted in the film Space Jam. That legendary colorway is being interpolated into the Air Jordan 37.
The graphic details found on the Air Jordan 7 “Hare” appear on the tongue and outsole of the Air Jordan 37 “Hare.” The lightweight LenoWeave construction of the upper and the rest of the base are white in coloration, just like the original colorway. The sneaker features a Formula 23 foam in the heel and a double-stacked Zoom bag at the forefoot to provide the ultimate propulsion. The Air Jordan 37 “Hare” is set to release September 29 at Nike and select retailers. It will retail for $185.
