The Bodega x New Balance 990v3 ‘Anniversary’ drops tomorrow exclusively on https://bdgastore.com/ at 12PM EST
Recent Bodega x New Balance 997S collabs have had a solid amount of stock and seems to have slightly increased with every release
Though anything is possible here, based on the wording used here in comparison to the Dunk High Release it doesn’t seem like they’ll be using a new site:
990v3 – “Available online at bdgastore.com at 12pm EST (noon) on a first come, first served basis.”
Dunk High – “Available at 12pm EST (noon) on a first come, first served basis. Check homepage at release time for further instructions to purchase.”
In the past, and even up until today, Bodega rarely turns on bot protection. The last time they turned it on was December 2nd. Since it’s their own collab I think they’ll probably turn it on tomorrow, but there’s no way to know for sure ahead of time
The first 2 New Balance 997S Collabs were released without any bot protection, but we still saw people able to check out because of high stock and the site crashing at every step of the checkout process, meaning the shoes were in stock for a longer period of time
The last 997S ‘Better Days’ collab had some of the same problems. Even though they turned on Checkpoint, the site was still crashing so you had to keep refreshing. I checked out 11 minutes after the initial release time because every step of the checkout process was dead, and since the shipping rate changed, new rates wouldn’t load for anyone at drop time
Steps:
- Everyone should add a cheap item to cart ahead of the release tomorrow. Do not head to checkout. Just simply add the item to your cart – https://bdgastore.com/collections/newarrivals?sort_by=price-ascending
- Have a bookmark for https://bdgastore.com/ in case they use a new site and link it to their home page again. (Similar to the A Ma Maniere drop)
If Password Page goes up –
- Bookmark https://bdgastore.com/checkout and begin clicking it at drop time to get into the Queue with your pre-carted item as soon as the Password Page goes down. If Checkpoint is up, you will be redirected to solve it first and then redirected to queue once you submit. Once in queue you can car the shoes in a new tab
If Password Page doesn’t go up –
- Pre-Cart to shipping or payment as usual once the queue goes up. We’ll post in #announcements when we see it go up
- Keep notifications on for #_monitor-bodega and #announcements-releases at drop time. It should pick up in the monitor and we’ll also post the link in announcements when we see it. Add the shoes to cart in another tab - Refresh your pre-carted checkout session to either take you to Checkpoint or update your session to show the shoes at checkout and continue through the checkout process
There will be a Zoom running tomorrow morning about 30 minutes ahead of the release, so if you’re unsure about anything be sure to join and ask questions before the drop
