The Yardrunners campaign was created by HBCU alumni at Nike and launched in 2020 to highlight and empower HBCU stories and traditions. Each class has put its spin on Nike footwear and apparel, and this year’s sneaker of choice is the Nike Terminator. For the Morehouse College colorway, Nike tapped multimedia creative and 2009 Morehouse College graduate Brandon “Jinx” Jenkins. Readers will recognize the New Jersey native from his work at Complex, Spotify, Nike, Jordan Brand, and more.

Dressed in Morehouse Maroon and white, this take on the Terminator includes the college’s tiger logo with a Swoosh in its mouth on the tongue, MOREHOUSE spelled across both heels as an ode to the OG Georgetown version, and “Brotherhood” on the lace tips. A special tribute to Jinx’s late professor is also featured inside the tongue tag. Take a further look behind the design here. The Morehouse College Nike Terminator High will release on December 2 in the Nike SNKRS app.
