New Balance and its collaborators continue to take on the 2002R. Bryant Giles, an artist from Chicago who now lives in Los Angeles, is the latest to reimagine the runner.
The Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R is built with an olive green canvas upper that’s paired with embroidered artwork, including a “What Now?” on the heels that draws from Giles’ Art Basel collection in December. Additionally, the shoe includes a removable Velcro “N” logo and co-branded insoles.
A release date for the Bryant Giles x New Balance 2002R has not been announced. However, we expect the pair to release on NewBalance.com and select retailers in the upcoming weeks. As always, our monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
