Those who keep tabs on DJ Clark Kent have likely heard him and his cohort refer to “The List.” Few are as plugged into the scene and have the same access that Kent does, and “The List” is a group of him and three others who do their part in helping each other out “for the love of sneakers.” It sounds exclusive, but it’s really just a group of friends who do what friends do.
Only adding to the mystique, however, is Kent’s reveal of the Air Force 1 Low “The List.” He took to Instagram late last week to share photos of the mismatched, multi-color pair. No two panels match from one pair to the other, with an abundance of colors rendered in premium leather with a slight metallic sheen. A white midsole provides contrast from all the hues, and down low is an always-welcomed gum outsole.
“Friends” and “Family” are embroidered across the two shoes’ lateral foxing, with a “GODs Favorite” [sic] spell-out across the mustaches. “#TheList” appears on the right tongue patch, while the right features Kent’s own logo. The former then repeats on the left insole, and the right calls out the four members of The List, “Clark, Abduk, Magdi, and All Day.”
