While details are still sparse, leaked images of an upcoming patent leather Air Jordan 1 High OG has recently surfaced. The sleek black and gold-clad AJ 1s sees Jordan Brand bring back the high-gloss look of patent leather to the classic silhouette. This year has seen only a few implementations of patent leather on AJ1s so this is a welcome addition for fans of the lesser-used material.
As shown in these leaked images below, the shoe is made up primarily of black patent leather save for a few accented details. The glossy look of the black leather reflects light back only in the brightest of sunshine, while bright gold patent leather is used on the Swooshes, ankle collar, Jordan Wings logo providing a nice contrast. A blacked out midsole and tread further the darker theme. No further details have come out surrounding the shoe’s release but stay tuned to our channels for future updates.
