Japanese skateboard company Instant Skateboards is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and are commemorating the milestone with a limited edition Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration. The shoes are expected to release later this Fall 2020.
The shoes arrive in a suede/leather construction with some small deviations from the regular SB Dunk Low formula. The Instant Skateboards dog insignia is embroidered on to the lateral portion of the heel while baby blue suede covers the side panels, heel, collar and just the top 3/4 of the lace stays. The bottom quarter of the lacestays is done in beige suede as are the attached mudguard overlays. The toebox is done in silver 3M leather and features a mini Swoosh in baby blue embroidered at the very tip. The shoes also feature a sail midsole instead of the traditional white which compliments the beige suede nicely. The tongue tag is also not the traditional Nike SB tag, instead, it features a tri-toned, co-branded Instant / Nike tag. Insoles feature a graphic of Tokyo streets and Nike SB / Instant Skateboards’ logos.
