To celebrate its 20th anniversary, END. has partnered with Swiss performance innovators On to create a bespoke edition of the acclaimed Cloudhorizon hiking shoe.
Marking the first collaboration between the two brands, the END. and On Cloudhorizon blends On’s renowned technical engineering with END.’s refined, design-led aesthetic.
Set against the vast and otherworldly landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales, the collaboration was brought to life through Weightless Traces, a performative walking project led by land-artist duo Strl_, who wear-tested the shoe across the rugged terrain.
Crafted with a mixed-material upper of suede and recycled textiles, the Cloudhorizon is engineered to meet the demands of unpredictable outdoor environments. Presented in an Ivory/Leaf colorway- the sneaker is defined by pale green detailing across the mudguard and sidewall branding, paired with printed logos on the suede tongue and heel tabs. A secure toggle-lace system enhances utility, while a subtle gradient from green to off-white guides the eye toward the debossed END. branding at the heel.
Underfoot, On’s signature Swiss technologies take centre stage. CloudTec PhaseTM and HelionTM superfoam provide lightweight, cushioned responsiveness tailored for hiking, while the MissiongripTM rubber outsole ensures confident traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Designed to feel supremely light with a soft, pillowed ride, the END. x On Cloudhorizon embodies both brands’ commitment to progressive design and performance-driven innovation.
