The New Balance 2002R “Protection Pack” Lands at Extra Butter

New Balance has the entire sneaker industry on its toes with the arrival of the upcoming New Balance 2002R “Protection Pack.” Ever since the Y2K-themed sneakers were themed, the pack has been top-of-mind for everyone.

Following release date rumors and delays, Extra Butter is releasing the “Protection Pack” exclusively in-store at Extra Butter locations. The “Protection Pack” will only be available at the boutique’s Lower East Side and in Long Island City stores ahead of New Balance’s global launch on August 20.

In addition to the trio, Extra Butter private label items including t-shirts, a trucker hat, and crew socks will also be available for purchase.

“Being able to launch the NB 2002r model at Extra Butter ahead of the global launch is an exciting time for our consumers and we aim to identify key styles & trends in the market that speak to the Extra Butter consumer. This NB 2002r model is just an example of new and innovative ways to cater exclusively to our consumer,” said Louis W. Colon III – SVP of Brand & Business Development at Extra Butter.
