Foot Locker is looking to heat things up.
Today, the brand has announced an exclusive collection with New Balance that channels the desert’s heat and colors.
In a campaign featuring NFL wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr, Foot Locker showcased how this collection aims to bring the heat from heritage to the present day. The pack plays the hits that have brought New Balance to the dance- blending bold, performance-driven design with statement-making style. Of course, the stars of the collection are the sneakers, in this case, it is the late-’90s classic M1000 and the 2000s-inspired 1906R. Each silhouette comes in striking, black-based colorways with vibrant pops of color.
The 1906R arrives in two vibrant, albeit different, spins of the black base upper. The Black/Pink colorway channels the desert night’s sand and sky- the M1000 in the collection follows similar color-blocking. Meanwhile, the Black/Multi colorway, almost feels reminiscent of a desert day, with pops of colors breaking up the Black upper and remind one of the greenery and foliage that breaks up a blue sky line.
Both models are regarded as fan favorites among New Balance fans. The 1906R has found itself among the favorite mesh runners for casual sneaker fans. All the while, the 1000 has followed a more heritage and retro vibe since it’s return last year.
The ‘Desert Heat’collection will be available exclusively at select Foot Lockerstores and online at footlocker.com beginning August 28th.
