Official images of Fragment Design’s final item for their Air Jordan collaboration have finally been revealed. The Fragment Design x Air Jordan 35 takes the upcoming basketball silhouette – releasing in GR colorways on October 17th – and applies fragment founder Hiroshi Fujiwara’s trademark mixtures of royal blue. black, and white tones alongside his brand’s iconic lightning bolt logo. The 35th entry in the mainline Air Jordan series uses the previous AJ XXXIV as a starting point. This version sees some welcomed fragment touches that are unique to this collab including the style code text in white along with the midsole’s window as well as a co-branded logo tag on the heel akin to the Air Jordan 3 collab’s rubber heel stamp. The synthetic ankle collar mixes white and Royal Blue thread to make a futuristic-looking hue. The shoe continues the usage of Jordan Brand’s proprietary Eclipse Plate 2.0 technology in the midsole and applies a mixture of different mesh gauges on the medial and lateral sides and ankle collar.
