The GAP hoodie continues to make headlines. After headlining in Kanye West’s “Heaven and Hell” music video and ensuing the Yeezy GAP Engineered by Balenciaga news, all eyes are on GAP and its next move.
The brand has announced its all-new NFT collection named “Threads” with the help of artist Frank Ape. the Frank Ape x GAP “Threads” NFT will be separated into tiers like Common and will release on January 13 through GAP.com/NFT, beginning around $8.30 and up to $415.
“GAP is exploring new ways to bring our iconic product to new and existing customers in a rapidly evolving digital ecosystem,” a GAP spokesperson told Highsnobiety. “We are excited to learn from our customers to help guide any future plans, and we see an exciting opportunity to deepen our relationship with current customers and attract new ones. We also see a great opportunity to partner with and amplify artists on our platforms.”
Highsnobiety then followed up by asking if a Yeezy GAP hoodie NFT is in the works. GAP stated that they “do not have anything to announce at this time.” However, we wouldn’t be surprised at all if a Yeezy GAP Engineered by Balenciaga hoodie hits the NFT market anytime soon.
