(UPDATE July 27, 2020) Arriving July 31st for $125 USD, the latest entry in PUMA’s forray into the world of basketball performance wear lines up perfectly with the return of the NBA 2019-2020 season.

The collaborative, basketball sneaker from PUMA and rapper J. Cole got its on-court debut earlier today in the Orlando NBA Bubble. While the season officially restarts on June 30th, several PUMA affiliated athletes such as Skylar Diggins-Smith, Kyle Kuzma, and Marvin Bagley III gave the public a closer look at the J. Cole x PUMA RS Dreamer during practice.

Originally revealed by Cole himself during Chicago NBA All-Star Weekend, the RS Dreamer gets its name from the rapper’s Dreamville record label and features several bright hits of neon and pastel colors across a predominantly black upper. Focusing most of his attention on PUMA’s proprietary Running System midsole, Cole outfits the black, posterior portion of the midsole with streaks of Mint Green, Neon Yellow, and dark Purple on the lateral side and a single streak of Dark Blue on the medial side. The front half of the midsole features a White base with Fluorescent orange inlays at the toe and small touches of Neon Yellow just underneath. The upper is relatively understated in its monochromatic construction but has some unique detailing such as exposed silver sticking across the lateral piping of the shoe as well as further hits of reflective Silver in small patches near the forefoot and lacestays and “RS” branding on the tongue in bright Red.

While no official release date or photos have been unveiled yet we can soon expect to hear new details from PUMA regarding this colorway and potentially the White pair from All-Star Weekend.

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
