Luka Dončić’s latest signature sneaker has been unveiled by Jordan Brand.
Dončić’s trade to the Los Angeles Lakers shocked the NBA world. As the Lakers continue to push towards the top of the Western Conference, Dončić’s latest signature sneaker could not come at a more perfect time.
As a cornerstone of the Jordan Brand super star roster, Dončić’s latest is getting the best of the best when it comes to performance technology. Much like the Luka 3, the Luka 4 will feature the IsoPlate technology- which provides standout stability and torsional rigidity that keeps Luka locked in over the footbed. It remains a spec that is exclusive to the Luke line.
That said, the Luka 4 also improves on the 3 in other aspects. Included for the first time in the Luka signature line is a Nike Zoom Air unit, which aims to deliver a responsive cushioning and the Cushlon 3.0 midsole for a smooth, comfortable on foot experience.
“The Luka 4 is made exactly for my game, giving me a new tool to help me play my best and push my performance,” explained Dončić. “The IsoPlate really helps me with my balance and my step-backs, the Zoom Air unit adds a new level of responsiveness, and the Cushlon 3.0 midsole makes this a very comfortable shoe.”
The Luka 4 will arrive in several colorways inspired by Dončić’s life and his interests outside of basketball.
A performance basketball sneaker for the outdoors, dubbed the Luka .77 is also on the horizon.
“The Luka .77 is for the kids — and for anyone who hoops outdoors,” says Luka. “When I was young, I used to play mostly outside but didn’t have footwear made for that environment, so I wanted to make a shoe for the next generation, giving them a tool to help them develop their game wherever they lace up.”
The Luka 4 and the Luka .77 will be available on April 8 via jordan.com and select retail partners.
