The Frenchwoman and back-to-back NCAA Champion helped UConn reach a 148–3 record across her four-year collegiate career from 2014 to 2018. Williams was the fourth overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft, selected by the Chicago Sky, and has since played for the Los Angeles Sparks and now, the Seattle Storm. She has played internationally dating back to 2018, earning titles in the top leagues in Spain and Hungary, and represents the French national team. Williams will head to Seattle to report to the Storm after her contract with club ASVEL was suspended due to the WNBA’s prioritization rule.
Signing Gabby Williams presents Jordan Brand with an opportunity to grow women’s basketball globally, as she has an established fanbase worldwide. She joins a long list of WNBA athletes signed by Jordan Brand, including Satou Sabally, Dearica Hamby, Kia Nurse, Aerial Powers, Isabelle Harrison, and Rhyne Howard.
