Jason Tatum’s first signature sneaker is just days away from its official launch, and the wheels are already in motion for the Jordan Tatum 1’s second colorway.
After the silhouette debuts April 7 in “Zoo,” Jordan Brand will quickly follow up with the “St. Louis” color variant. The dressing for this colorway is ultra clean with white making up the majority of the Jordan Tatum 1, but select hits of powder blue and red channel the St. Louis Cardinals’ jerseys worn throughout the ’70s and ’80s.
Powder blue outlines the shoe’s TPU frame and also appear’s on the lateral side’s leather striping and its straighter heel counterpart. The Jordan Tatum 1 then primarily opts for red on the branding, including the Jumpman logo, “0” embroidery on the heel, pull tabs just below, and the tongue’s matching “JT” logos. “Archer Av,” the street in St. Louis where Tatum was born, is tucked onto the inner tongue patch, while a fluer-de-lis that nods to the city’s Catholic roots sits on the insole and the right pull tab.
The Jordan Tatum 1 “St. Louis” is slated to release April 15 through Nike in the full family size range, with men’s priced at $120. Download the DROPS by SoleSavy app to stay up on all the latest sneaker news.
