Kerby Jean-Raymond is leaving Reebok.
The designer, who’s broken down barriers through his Pyer Moss label, joined the Vector logo brand in 2017. Since his arrival to the brand, Jean-Raymond brought a new level of luxury wrapped around Reebok’s heritage basketball design language. Jean-Raymond was appointed as the brand’s Global Creative Director in September 2020.
The design announced his exit from the role, effective on March 1.
“I enjoyed my time with Reebok and wish the company well in all of its future endeavors,” Jean-Raymond said.
The announcement comes months after Reebok was purchased by Authentic Brands Group from adidas in August 2021 for $2.5 billion. While the exit isn’t directly linked, one could guess that the departure was a result of new ownership.
“We want to sincerely thank Kerby for his many contributions to Reebok,” Reebok President Matt O’Toole said. “The positive impact he has made on the brand will be felt for years to come. We wish him the very best.”
The final Pyer Moss x Reebok installment will release in March.
