It’s that time of year again…

We know Halloween isn’t for everyone, but if you feel like you want to get in the spirit this year and need to pull together a last-minute costume, we have some costume suggestions for any sneaker enthusiast could appreciate.

Costume Idea #1: Velma from Scooby Dooby Do + Nike Dunk High “Syracuse”

Sneaker:

Inspo Details: Who doesn’t love Velma from Scooby Dooby Doo! She is a highly intelligent young woman, who is always one step ahead of everyone. The Syracuse Dunks go hand in hand with her character. If you wanna be bold and mysterious this Halloween, this is the perfect costume for you! Just as the 1999 retro dunk series featured the best quality materials, Velma is very particular and emphasizes details whenever she can, solving all mysteries.

Costume Idea #2: Kim Possible + Aleali May x Air Jordan 14 Low “Fortune”

Image of Shoe:

Inspo Details: Aleali May is an inspiration to many women around the world. Inspired by her roots and family the Fortune 14s were articulately designed. This Halloween goes back in time to pair these personalized 14s with a Kim Possible costume. Kim is a character that many of us loved growing up. She was seen as a positive role model to young females, just as Aleali May is in today’s society. The color palette of this shoe goes perfectly with Kim’s signature cargo look and her green gadget. Just like Aleali’s close relationship with her mother and grandmother, Kim also held these strong bonds. Her grandmother, Nana Possible, fought crime when she was young and it is said Kim inherited her abilities. This costume is very sentimental and perfect for this Halloween.

Costume Idea #3: Mummy: COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Carnivore

Image of Shoe:

Inspo Details: CDG Carnivores are the shoe of the year for many, as they are so versatile and clean. If being spooky this Halloween is your goal, these are perfect to pair with your Mummy costume. The straps around the ankles give it a mummy effect and complete the layered linen look. CDGs do look very futuristic, so this costume will definitely carry out a futuristic mummy vibe. The reflective 3M elements are perfect to bring some pop to your mummy costume, especially on a night out. All the different materials and wrapping effects will have your mummy look come alive!

Costume Idea #4: Zombie Girl + New Balance 2002R “Protection Pack”

Sneaker:

Inspo Details: Let’s dig into our imagination and start with the zombie girl. The ripped-up clothing and bloody face say it all. She’s out of her mind and on the hunt for the next victim. It’s only right she has comfortable footwear to chase down her prey. The distressed New Balance 2002 “Protection Pack” complements her mood all too well.

Costume Idea #5: Teddy Bear + UNDFTD x Nike Dunk Low “5 On It”

Sneaker:

Inspo Details: Next, we have the cute cuddly bear. Throw on that furry brown costume and don’t forget the honey. Top this look off with the undefeated x Dunk Low Canteen and you are all set. Bears appear to be sweet but can be deadly in real life. Be creative with your look to add that aggressive edge.

Costume Idea #5: Cruella de Vil + Air Jordan 14 Low “Red Lipstick”

Sneaker:

Inspo Details: And last but not least we have Cruella de Vil. The colors Black and red speak for the evil that lurks in her soul. This fashion-obsessed character lives for a look and would do anything to get it. Give your best Cruella impersonation by stepping out in the AJ14 “Red Lipsticks.”

quotes

Sole Savy is unreal! With a busy schedule it’s hard to keep up on shoes, and the group keeps me up to date on releases, tips on how to manually cop, and a marketplace with killer deals from fellow like minded collectors. It’s changed the sneaker game for me!

@SoleSavy is the truth. They've helped me cop kicks I never would've imagined getting at retail. Members always willing to assist on drops too. And most of all, a REAL community of REAL sneakerheads. These guys should be the gold standard for sneaker communities! #LifetimeMember

My membership paid for itself three fold by being solely responsible for my union 4’s, mesh sacai waffles, sacai blazers, court purple aj1s, glow in the dark yeezy 350s, travis scott lows (which I traded to get desert ore ow’s), air max 1 londons, bc3’s for way under retail etc.

Can't say enough about SS. The stellar help with copping shoes is a given but it's the community that makes it extra special. Hands down one of the best decisions I made as a wannabe sneakerhead.

The community of sneakerheads and resources available to help manually cop are great and really will help you get more Ws. The Zoom calls for hyped drops like Union Jordan 4 only adds to the camaraderie while providing real time instruction
