The Nike x Martine Rose Sport collection taps into the gaming democracy — a space where anyone can compete, connect, and belong — reflecting the possibilities of what sport can be and who it can represent.
The new collection celebrates gamers as heroes of a modern arena defined by precision, focus and creative energy — carrying forward the spirit of Nike and Martine’s eight-year partnership, which is built at the edges of convention, where the familiar is reimagined.
Inspired by the spirit of 1990s LAN parties — or in-person gaming gatherings — the collection challenges convention by blurring the lines between sport, gaming and streetwear. Rooted in sport heritage and informed by gaming culture, the collection comprises a range of silhouettes designed for the modern athlete: connected, competitive and boldly expressive.
The relaxed and functional pieces include football kits, hoodies, a short and a fleece pant. A water-repellent, sweat-wicking ski parka reimagines a 1990s ACG jacket from the Nike DNA archives, while a versatile cross-body bag is designed to store daily essentials while on the go.
As far as the sneakers are concerned, Rose and Nike are reconnecting on the iconic Shox R4. The stretched proportioins differentiate Rose’s collaborative efforts from the traditional counterpart.
“The world of competitive gaming informed every aspect of our new collection,” says Martine. “As with any sport uniform, each piece is fit for purpose and has to suit the task. This apparel line is all about comfort, mobility and flexibility. We really wanted the collection to have this relaxed mood both inspired by gamers and made for the way they compete.”
The 2025 Nike x Martine Rose Sport Shox R4 releases tomorrow on SNKRS tomorrow, October 30th. The matching apparel will also launch on SNKRS and participating retailers beginning tomorrow.
