The New Balance 2002R has been a sensation from Salehe Bembury’s collaboration to the fan-favorite “Protection Pack” to a handful of noteworthy general releases, the 2002R is a staple in the modern New Balance era.
As we near the end of winter, the Boston-based brand is dropping an entire 2002R collection draped in suede. The upcoming New Balance 2002R “Suede Pack” is built with premium pig suede and breathable mesh on the upper in the four monochromatic looks: “Forest Green,” “Red Wine,” “Black Fig,” and “Hazy Blue.”
Staying true to the 2002R’s origins, the signature N logo is dropped in silver and includes a reflective hit that lands on the heel while a slightly yellowed midsole completes the collection.
The New Balance 2002R “Suede Pack” is available online now at Melbourn-based retailer UpThereStore.com. A stateside release has not been announced, but we anticipate the collection releasing on NewBalance.com and select retailers soon. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
