New Balance continues to celebrate its classics with its MADE 990 Version Series. The timeless 990 celebrates its 40th anniversary in early 2022, and there’s no better homage than bringing back its heritage with a subtle new look.
Earlier this summer, the New Balance MADE 990v1 “Version Series” was unveiled. Now, we get a closer look at the next member of the pack as the 990v2 gets the Version Series treatment.
The signature grey hues and premium materials arrive on the pair’s upper. However, hits of ruby, symbolizing the 40th anniversary of the 990, make their way on the tongue, heel, and even on a tab on the upper.
The New Balance MADE 990v2 “Version Series” will be available globally on NewBalance.com and select retailers on July 16. As always, our monitors and release day strategy will have members prepared for the drop.
