New Balance continues its Earth-conscious offerings and initiatives with the upcoming New Balance MADE Responsibly 998 collection.

As a follow-up to last year’s inaugural collection, New Balance looks to cut waste once again by incorporating surplus materials without compromising on quality. No two pairs are the same as the MADE Responsibly 998 utilizes scraps of pigskin overlays, body mesh, lining, laces, speedlace, molded collar straps, and the sole unit. As far as new materials used in the collection, the interior lining taps stocked materials.

The brand ensures that Earth Month combines New Balance’s premium-infused DNA with a sustainable foundation. With only a limited number made, you’ll receive a unique pair that merges surplus and new materials and will never again be created in that same exact form.

The New Balance MADE Responsibly 998 will be available on May 1, 2021, for $180 USD on NewBalance.com at 10 a.m. EST.
