Few colorways have seen a jump in popularity in recent years like the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 4. The colorway is inspired by Michael Jordan’s nickname and retro’d for the first time in 2020. While many sneakerheads were happy to see its return, it wasn’t hard to get when it was released. Fast-forward a few years, it’s one of the most popular and expensive Air Jordans on the aftermarket. Jordan Brand is feeding into the demand by bringing back the Black Cat Air Jordan 3 later this year, and now it looks like an Air Jordan 1 Low is also in the works. This iteration of the Black Cat takes the feline inspo up a notch with fangs and glow-in-the-dark cat eyes on the tongues, furry laces and upper, and a spider web toe box. This colorway is made on the standard inline AJ1 Low model, not the OG or ’85 build. According to masterchefian, the spooky colorway will be dropping for Halloween.
