Nike kicked off the road to the 2024 Summer Olympics at April’s “Nike On Air” event in Paris. The showcase at the Palais Brongniart looked at Nike Air’s past and a preview of its future. Aside from featuring Nike’s proprietary Air technology, all the footwear displayed shared an Orange and Blue colorway inspired by original sketches from Nike Co-Founder Bill Bowerman and his vision for the Swoosh during its early years. The “Blueprint Pack‘s” blue Swooshes on the collection are an ode to Bowerman, who famously sketched Swooshes onto Nike track spikes to reduce weight.
The collection showcases Nike Air’s impact across sports via a 13-product offering that includes the Nike Victory 2, Nike Maxfly 2, the Nike G.T. Hustle 3, and the 2024 Nike Mercurial. The Nike “Blueprint Pack” releases on July 3 at Nike.com
