What a week it’s been for rapper rollouts. No, I’m not just referring to the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef. Travis Scott’s Jumpman Jack rollout has been happening for months, but this week feels like the main event. The official SNKRS and boutique release for the debut “Sail and Dark Mocha” colorway happened last week, and Travis wasted no time starting to promote the “University Red” colorway. According to his site, its first drop will be tomorrow, May 10. The same site also ran a raffle for the debut colorway today.

The rollout has seen Travis talk about the journey to creating his first signature sneaker and multiple video promos featuring new music, Kanye West, and both of their children. The Ye inclusion is important for a lot of reasons, most notably how he laid the foundation at Nike and in the footwear industry as a whole for musicians to have their own sneaker deals. During this rollout, Travis referred to the sneaker as the ‘T-Rexx,’ which I’m told was an internal code name. Now, it looks like it might just have two names, as his site and some retail box labels suggest. Keep track of all upcoming Jumpman Jack or T-Rexx releases on the DROPS By SoleSavy app.
