The Nike Air Alpha Force 88 is Returning This Year

Nike has been reaching deep into the vault lately, reviving a myriad of older silhouettes like the Nike Air Adjust Force and the original Nike Air Huarache. The Swoosh is digging up the Nike Air Alpha 88, which is one of the few silhouettes His Airness wore outside of this own signature line. Jordan laced up a Chicago Bulls-esque colorway back in 1988 against the New York Knicks, and now that exact colorway is set to make a return this year.

The sneaker features a white, all-leather construction and ribbed mesh ankle collar. A forefoot strap and Air Force branding on the tongue add key elements to the underrated sneaker. The sneaker’s return is coming at the perfect time as it along with the Air Jordan 3 are celebrating their 35th anniversaries both of which play a major part in the inspiration for the popular Air Jordan Legacy 312, which amalgamates the sneakers His Airness wore during his early career. The Nike Air Force Alpha 88 “University Red” is set to release soon via Nike and select retailers for $140.
