The Nike Air Griffey Max 1, released in 1996 and worn by The Kid, is making its triumphant return to the plate as the silhouette turns 25 years. With the “Freshwater” retro and other new colorways of the trainer releasing, the Swoosh has more on the way for Griffey’s signature model.
The upcoming Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Wheat” arrives at the perfect time as the leaves change colors. Shades of wheat and white with a gum bottom team up on the pair ahead of the cooler months. Though the GS pair is pictured below, we anticipate the colorway to release in a men’s version as well.
A release date for the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Wheat” has yet to be confirmed. However, we expect the pair to release on SNKRS and through select retailers in the upcoming months. As always, our sneaker monitors and release day strategy will have members ready for drop day.
